As dairy lovers like to say: "You can't make yoghurt without milk!" And they're right... Cocoguard is what happens when young coconut meets fermentation. This gently sweet, gently tangy cream with a light coconut aroma contains a high count of friendly bacteria, easily digestible fibre and a range of health-boosting compounds.
We make Cocoguard in three ranges. Biotic is the tamed coconut. It contains only added friendly bacteria and prebiotic fibre, with a calm, typically less tangy flavour. Cocoguard Biotic is loved by children and adults alike. Shot is the drinkable version of Cocoguard. Pocket-sized and ready to go. Symbiotic, on the other hand, is the wild version, also containing the coconut's naturally occurring friendly bacteria and yeasts, living together in symbiosis. Both in flavour and in effect, it's made for seasoned fermented food enthusiasts.
You can also make Cocoguard yourself at home using our DIY kit. If you'd like to call your creation "coconut yoghurt", you'll need to add a small amount of real dairy milk before fermentation as required by official EU terminology.
